At Beamish Metal Works, everything is designed and made in-house. Our metal art is cut out on CNC machines and attached to stained wood backgrounds. We specialize in metal art wall decor that is perfect for cabin, farm house, or office decor. Whether you're in search of a wall hanging, customized cribbage board, or personalized gift idea, we have something for you.
Our design inspiration can come from anywhere, including nature, pictures, or our interests such as Norse designs, aircraft, and Americana. We also create stylized words and Celtic-themed designs, such as the Celtic cross or Icelandic designs.
Once we have our design ideas, we meticulously draw them in computer software. Our team checks the designs multiple times to ensure that they are aesthetically pleasing and will work with the chosen materials. We use steel and wood to create our metal art pieces, and for those items with wood backgrounds, we redraw them in different software that is compatible with our CNC machines for wood carving.

After the designs are finalized, the parts are cut out on our CNC machines. The metal parts are cut out on a CNC machine for metal, and the wood parts are cut out on a CNC machine for wood. Our team then finishes and fits the parts by hand. We stain, paint, and assemble the pieces to perfection. Any custom laser engraving is done after the items are assembled.

Once the metal art pieces are assembled, they go through a final inspection. We give them a final clear coat finish and let them dry for 24 hours. We then box them and ship them out to our customers all over the world.
