I love creating art for people to not only admire, but which transforms them to a peaceful memory, one that causes them to pause, ponder and wonder about the beauty of nature.

I created this Heron to highlight the beautiful wood grains through delicate steel cutout details which seem to frame the rustic wood beneath it. The metal reflects light, mimicking the sun’s rays as a Hummingbird dashes in flight between flowers and trees.

The Heron wall sculpture:

• Was made using rustic stained wood and clear-coated hand ground steel

• Is made primarily for indoor display, but could be used outdoors if displayed in a covered area

• May be hung by the sawtooth hanger on the back
